'Aqualung'

I thought there’d be more flute.

As cartoonish as Jethro Tull has become as a band that featured a flautist, this is a normal 1970s British rock record with a noticeable tinge of Brit folk. It’s not nearly as terrible as I anticipated. There’s songsmanship here, artistry.

Am I going to listen to it a lot in the future? Probably not. It’s not so much my thoughts about Jethro Tull as much as my limits for 1970s British rock.
