You know, I always thought that I could've been a fisherman in another life. Or even in this life, I guess. There's still fishermen. I've seen "The Deadliest Catch."There's something about the sea, living off a boat, working directly toward how you got paid, having a very specific purpose and directly seeing the fruits of your labor.
Also, the idea of living away from everything for months at a time and living a sad, adventureous life, but a life that a majority of the general public couldn't do. It's like being a window washer on high-rise buildings. There must exist an extra special sense of pride knowing that nobody wants your job.
