'Triangle'

The Beau Brummels (name of the band, not a person) originally consisted of five members.

Irishman Declan Mulligan was apparently kicked out and later sued for $1.25 for wrongful dismissal (he also joined the band later for a reunion). Later that year, Ron Elliot began suffering seizures resulting in a diabetic condition, and was forced to leave the band. Don Irving joined the band, but left after getting drafted.

Finally, John Petersen left to join the band Harpers Bizarre.

It left The Beau Brummels with three members and they released their album Triangle (three … get it?!) in 1967.

This is standard hippie fare, nothing unlike what you might find anywhere in 1967. It features a number of fantastic sessions musicians including guitarist James Burton, bassist Carol Kaye, drummer Jim Gordon and the legendary Van Dyke Parks on harpsichord.

It’s good. Not going to knock your socks off or anything.
